The Santa Clarita Community College District/College of the Canyons is seeking a full-time Director, Operations and Marketing Communications (Foundation) in the Foundation office.

“BIG PICTURE” RESPONSIBILITY:
Under the supervision and direction of the Executive Director, Foundation, the Director, Operations and Marketing Communications is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the Foundation’s communications, operations, and partnership development in a highly interactive and collaborative team environment to support the Foundation’s mission. In these efforts, the Director will work effectively to design media, implement policy and procedures, partner and develop internal and external stakeholders, advance public engagement through online/digital engagement, social media, direct mail, events and other appropriate communication channels. Perform other duties as assigned.
Four (4) years of full-time equivalent experience in nonprofit, marketing, public relations, or community relations fields including two (2) years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Marketing, Non-Profit Leadership, or related discipline.
